Michael Philip Chapman's Obituary
Michael Philip Chapman, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2019 at Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.
He was born in Lynchburg, VA on March 20,1950, the son of the late Walter Lawrence Chapman, Sr. & Catherine Shelton Chapman. He is survived by his wife, Gwen Chapman of Garden City, SC; his 2 sons, Toby Chapman of Asheville, NC & Dylan Chapman of Altavista, VA; 2 stepchildren, Brooke Coleman of Concord, VA & John Luke Ray of Garden City, SC; and 1 brother, Walter Lawrence Chapman, Jr. "Chappy" of Altavista, VA.
Mike was happiest when cruising around on his golf cart in the evenings taking in views of the beautiful Inlet. To honor his request, there will be no funeral.
