Miriam J. Ross passed away Jan 30, 2021 at NHC Garden City. She was born in Lynn, MA., March 28, 1923, to the late James and Bessie Crowell. She graduated from Lynn English High in 1941 and in 1943 married her high school sweetheart, Stewart J Ross. In the 1950's they settled in Lynnfield, Ma and were active in the community while raising their four children.

"Mim", as she was known, was an energetic, adventurous, caring mother and grandmother. She loved animals, all things in nature and being outdoors in every season. She enjoyed travel, music, dancing, and gatherings with her family and friends. Mim was a long time member of Lynnfield Community Church and was a good neighbor to everyone she knew.

When she was in her late 80's she moved to live in New Hampshire with her daughter and son-in-law and spent winters in Myrtle Beach. In 2015 she suffered a stroke in SC and lived at NHC for the remainder of her life.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stewart J. Ross, her son, Gary C. Ross, and her grandson Colin M. Ross. She is survived by her sons, Alan S. Ross and wife Sally, Lindsey J. Ross, daughter Kathleen J. Ross, son-in-law, Ronald L Barrett, daughter-in-law, Susan K Ross, and 10 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.

Her family is grateful to Caris Hospice and the staff of NHC for their care, especially Jenelyn Altman and Erin Boyea. We are also grateful to the many friends who gave their love and support.
