It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Charles Hans, 72 of Murrells Inlet, SC.  Norman passed away on February 11, 2024, after a long illness.  He was born in Washington, DC to Robert J. and Louise Hans on October 31, 1951.  Norman had six brothers who loved him very much.  Paul Williams (deceased (Linda), Allen Williams (deceased) (Jeanne), Robert Hans (Pamela), David Hans, Michael Hans (Beth) and Stephen Hans (Debbie).  Norman will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Finally, he will be missed by his many friends that he met along his journey.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Grand Strand Funeral Home, led by The Very Right Rev. Ronald Greiser.
