Patricia M. Rohrey's Obituary
Patricia M. Rohrey, 88, of Myrtle Beach passed away on October 18th, 2016. She was born December 14th, 1927 in Floral Park, New York.
Patricia was pre-deceased by her parents, John Chapman Rohrey and Margaret Hegarty Rohrey and her brother William Rohrey. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Strange, of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and a niece and nephews.
Pat was brought up on a golf course in New Jersey and became an excellent golfer. She won many trophies. She taught history in the New Jersey school system for many years before retiring to Myrtle Beach.
Patricia belonged to Myrtlewood Golf Couse before moving to Island Green. Pat became a member of the Lady Islanders Golf Association and the Lady Islanders Social Group. She was also active in the Island GreenSecurity Council and the Fairway Village HOA.
Pat was known by all at Island Green and will be especially remembered as a teacher, friend and mentor by the Lady Islanders.
