Patrick J. McGrath, age 83 formerly of West Mifflin, PA, died peacefully at Grand Strand Hospital in
Myrtle Beach, SC on March 27, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.
He was born in Brownsville, PA on June 2, 1940 to James F. McGrath and Katherine (Korff). He enjoyed
spending time with his wife, Edna. He couldn't live without her. His favorite hobby was setting up and
running model trains.
Patrick was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Edna, his parents, James and Katerine McGrath.
He is survived by sons, James (Marianne), Michael (Patricia) and Patrick (Nicole). Grandchildren,
Katelyn, Carlee, Brandy (Jeffrey), Ryan, Bailey and Madison. Great grandchildren, Daphne, London and
Piper. Grandpups, Zoee, Lucy, Lola, Sadie and Sidney.
A memorial service will be held privately. Condolences can be made at grandstrandcremation.com. In
lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to Wounded Warrior Project.
