Steve McElveen, 57, passed away peacefully at his home on March 8th, 2020 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Steve was known by his friends and coworkers as "Steve The Tire Man" and worked and loved being in the tire industry for over 30 years. He had a love for golfing, fishing, softball, Gamecock Football, and making everyone around him laugh.

Steve was born on October 26th, 1962 in Columbia, SC son of Margie J. McElveen and Harold L. McElveen. He is survived by his wife, Brenda McElveen, Daughter Stephanie Singleton (Thayle), Son Shay McElveen, Three grandchildren (Caidence, Ryley,

And Trennan), Brothers Ricky McElveen (Francine) and Kenneth Edwards (Debbie), and Sister Donna Lynn McElveen. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Sister Christina Freeman, brothers Harold Jennings and David McElveen.

The family will be gathering on Wednesday, March 11th at 3:00 PM at Grand Strand Funeral Home & Crematory for a celebration of life.
