Peggy Earney Cooper 82, a loving mother and grandmother passed away January 21, 2017.
Peggy was born October 11, 1934 in Bessemer City, NC a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Jones) Earney. She was also predeceased by her husband Mark Grier Cooper, and son Michael Johns.
Peggy, better known as Mammaw by her grandchildren.
Survivors include son Ronnie Johns; daughters Sharon Smithwick, and Sheila Ferrell; grandchildren Ashley Ferrell Shirley, Johnny Ferrell, Jesse Smithwick, Maxx Smithwick; three great grandchildren.
A visitation and service will be held 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday January 26, 2017 at Grand Strand Funeral Home. Burial Service will be held 3:00pm at Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Charlotte, NC.
