Phil passed away very peacefully in his sleep at home in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 22, 2024.  Phil was 69 years old, born on October 17, 1955 in Washington DC to Philip Stanford Hungerford Sr. and Lois Elaine Hungerford (Smith).  He lived with his wife Rosa Kay Hungerford (McKeown) in Myrtle Beach, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Kay Hungerford (McKeown) of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Brian Grady (Katelyn) Hungerford and two precious granddaughters Olivia Wren and Scarlet Rue Hungerford of Gresham, SC; sister, Janice Fry (Hungerford) of Madison, NC; brother, Barton J. Hungerford of Monrovia, MD, and six nieces and four nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Pastor Jason Collins at St. Paul's Anglican Church. The service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 710 Main Street, Conway, SC beginning at 11:00am on Saturday, November 16, 2024.  The family will receive friends in the Parish Hall following the service.
