Richard Winn Koster, 54, of Galivants Ferry, SC died on March 10th, 2017.

Richard was born April 2nd, 1962 in Charleston, SC, a son to Sarah Moore and the late Robert Koster. Richard was predeceased by his father, Robert Burnett Koster, maternal grandparents Fred and Vick Richardson, paternal grandparents Willie and Jewell Koster, a very special aunt and uncle, Walter Ray Richardson and Carolyn Richardson and another very special aunt Glenna Barineau, as well as several other aunts and uncles.

Richard is survived by his loving mother, Sarah Moore, sister "Sissy" Hastings, nephews Colby Hastings and JJ Hastings, a very special great niece Emma Kate Hastings, uncles Fred Richardson (Jamie), Keith Richardson (Virginia), Maxie Richardson (Ruth), Nelson Roberts (Agnes) Clifton Roberts (Angie), Merry Shelley, numerous family members and friends and his very special friends Wayne Hucks, Jan Holder (Kim) and Jeffery Harrelson.

In life, Richard loved to fish any chance that he got and attended the Pisgah United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held in Richard's honor at the Pisgah United Methodist Church in Galivants Ferry, SC on Saturday, March 18th at 2:00 PM. Reverend Jane Pierce will be officiating. The family will receive friends and family in the fellowship hall immediately following the service with refreshments available.
