Robert "Bobby" DeSando passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was born February 4, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Frank DeSando and Stella Tyborowska Frickie. He was primarily raised by his stepmother, Marion DeSando.

Bobby was predeceased by his stepmother, Marion DeSando, his former wife Mary Marshaline Wilt Dunnavant; children Angeline DeSando; siblings Florence DeSando Brown, and Carl DeSando.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and a friend to all. He was in the restaurant business, from a waiter in his father's restaurants, becoming a manager at several Chucky Cheese, and ultimately an owner with his brother Carl of their own restaurant in Columbia, SC. He enjoyed using the latest technology, and had computers as soon as they were available.  Bobby was an avid Washington Redskins football fan, enjoying watching the games on television. His favorite place to visit was Disney World in Florida, taking his kids and other family members for a wonderful vacation experience.

Mr DeSando is survived by his sister, Fran Monard (Jim); sons, Robert Dean DeSando; Allen Francis DeSando; daughters, Darlene Crosby (Jonathan); Kathleen "Kathy" Vale (James); 3  grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren along with many family and friends that will miss him.
