Obituary

Robert Nelson Lynn, born May 18, 1949 passed away as a result of multiple chronic illnesses on August 5, 2019. He was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania but spent most of his life as a resident of Flint, MI. He was a proud member of the UAW and former employee of the Buick corporation located in Genesee county, MI. He was a very active reader, a gifted artist, and loved crossword puzzles. Robert was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, and member of the Democratic party. He thoroughly enjoyed discussions of political relevance.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Colleen, as well as his sister Carol.
He is survived by his 3 children (Rob, and twin daughters Sherry and Shelly of northern Michigan), 6 grandchildren (Bradley, Bobby, Brittany, Katelyn, Tanner, and Madisyn), his sisters Mary and Betty, and his beloved girlfriend, Diane Bartholomew of Clinton Township. His first great-grandchild is expected to be born any day.
He was well loved by his family, and a host of friends and associates in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Due to the sudden nature of his passing, funeral services have been postponed until arrangements can be made. The family would like to make sure that all of his friends can be present. This will likely occur in the winter or spring.
Roberts Facebook page is now being managed by his family. Details of the memorial service will be posted there for anyone who is interested in attending.
Robert lived a unique and interesting life, and he loved sharing stories of his past. He'll be remembered forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
