Robert M Rice (Bob) passed on 12-16-21 at his residence in S.C. After a valiant battle with cancer.

Bob is survived by his spouse Jo Anne, son Robert J Rice, sister Sonja Buntman, mother Kathleen Navarro stepfather Robert Navarro and his sister Tammy Rice who predeceased him.

A few years after High School Bob joined the army (despite his mother's wishes). She was a military wife and Bob was born in Germany.
When he was 18 he started riding a motorcycle.  He rode cross country many times and continued riding whenever he could until he became ill.

For the last 7 years he often took his Chihuahua Peanut with him, she loved to ride on his Harley.

A few years ago Bob decided we needed to travel in a motorhome.  We traveled with the bikes, and a Jeep in a trailer behind the motorhome.  Our dogs put more miles  on a bike than most humans.

Bob rode with the American Legion Riders for a few years.  He then joined Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.  He was one of the "original 8" who started CVMA  chapter 34-3 in Myrtle Beach. He had earned a Lifetime membership in the CVMA.

Bob assisted Jo Anne coaching an Archery Team at a local Elementary School.  He loved working with the children and many loved him.

Bob is to be cremated and there are no services scheduled.
