Mr . Robert Dean York , age 7 6 , died Saturday , November 28 , 2020 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital . Mr York was born in War , West Virginia on March 28 , 19 4 4 to the late Mrs . Barbara Chapman .

Mr . York was preceded in death by his mother Mrs . Barbara Chapman and bother Earl Chapman .

Mr . York leaves behind his wife of 50 years Mrs . Carolyn York , 2 daughters Stella Renee Briceno of Ocean Isle Beach , N . C . and Carolyn Regina Long and husband Clinton Dale Long of Little River , S . C . , 2 grand children Jessica Brockmeyer of Dallas , Ga . and Harley ( Chase ) Long of Little River , S . C . . 3 great grand children Collin , Madelene and Jordan . Mr . York is also survived by 3 sisters Maxine Broadway of King , N . C . , Delphus Holden and husband Harold and Gail Swayers all of King , N . C . . 4 brothers David Chapman , Joe Romayo , and Aaron Chapman of Pinnacle , N . C . . Frank Romayo of Mt . Airy , N . C . Mr . York was a survivor of cerebral palsy where he over came overwhelming odds to become a loving husband and father .
