Robert "Bob" James Zitani, age 54 of Longs, SC passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Bob was born on January 11, 1966 in Hartford, CT. He attended Bristol Eastern High School and graduated in 1984. He married Melissa Boucher on July 7, 2017 at Pequabuck Golf course where they met (June 7, 2009) and often played golf. Bob was in the Air Force for a total of four years. He worked at Guida's Dairy in New Britain CT for over 22 years as a driver and dispatcher. In 2018 he decided to move to South Carolina to enjoy the beach and golfing. He worked at First Service Residential while living in South Carolina. Bob loved golfing, the beach, bowling, monthly poker games with the boys, music, kayaking, and playing cribbage and cards with his mom, dad and wife.

Bob is survived by his mother and father, Victor and Angela Butwich; wife, Melissa; son, Robert; granddaughter, Rylee; brothers, Joseph (wife Melanie) and Craig; Sister, Christina (boyfriend Mark); nieces and nephews; Jess, Jacob, Jack, Joe Jr., April, Amber, step son Jacob, dog, Spanky, and many, many friends.

The world has lost an amazing, funny, genuine man. He loved life and always made people laugh. He would do anything for anyone. We all pray that he is resting in peace and will be our angel watching over us. Bob, we love and cherish that you were a part of our lives, and you will never be forgotten.
