Rosemary B. Feely passed away peacefully at Grand Strand Medical Center due to complications with pneumonia at the age of 88.
Rosemary was born in Glamorgan County, Swansea, South Wales on January 12th, 1929. Her parents were the late William George Ball and Rosamund Matilda Ball. Rosemary attended school in England and loved to travel. She came to the United States in 1956 and married Michael J. Feely in 1959. She held various jobs such as a nanny, veterinarian technician, and dog groomer. She had a passion and love for animals. Her hobbies included reading, painting, horseback riding, fencing, traveling, archery, taking care of dogs, and listening to classical music. Rosemary was formerly from Danbury, Connecticut and retired with her husband to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Rosemary was survived by her loving husband Michael J. Feely; brother, John Ball Sr of Louisiana; son, Michael D. Feely and his wife Kathy Feely of Connecticut; daughter, Rosemary J. Feely-Tierney and her husband William Tierney of South Carolina; and her granddaughters, Kailee Tierney and Heather Feely, as well her nephew, John Ball and her nieces, Kim Robichaux and Robin McBryde of Louisiana. There will be a celebration of Rosemary's life in the summer of 2018 with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand Strand Humane Society or St. Frances Animal Center in memory of Rosemary and her love for animals.
