Sarah Luanne Bessent, 44, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at her residence.

Born November 5, 1981, in Loris SC, she was the daughter of Pamela Bessent (Ronald Montgomery) and the late Reuben Blondell.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Wayne and Irene Chestnut, Roland and Daisy Bessent, and two sisters Crystal and Julie.

She is survived by her sister Robin and her brother David. Also survived by her special stepsisters Ciara, Kaycee, and Shana, along with her stepbrothers Daniel and Thomas, special stepmother, Sheila, and her special love, Eric Perry.

She was lovingly called Punkin by her family and friends. She was loved by many and was loved back. Her animals (Missy and Kitty Cat) will miss her.

She worked hard helping Eric survey as she would help anyone who needed help.

She didn't have any children of her own, but she adopted her sisters' boys and girls. They looked to her for support and advice. She will be remembered as a loving and wonderful person. She will always be in our hearts and memories as they are plenty.
