Susan A
Mata
October 25, 1950 – April 20, 2024
Susan A. Mata passed away in her forever home with her family, friends and fur babies by her side on Saturday, April 20,2024.
Susan was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on October 25, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Norman F. Brogan Sr., and Madeleine (Grimard) Brogan. She was the sister of the late Norman F Brogan,Jr. and the late Nancy Brogan.
Susan was known for her huge heart and giving nature. She was a hardworking entrepreneur with a love of cooking, cleaning, landscaping, and animals. Above all else she loved her family; when asked what her greatest wish was she stated " I want all of my children and grandchildren to be happy and to always get along." Not a day passed without her talking about her family or her fur babies. Susan also had a great group of friends who became just like an extended family to her. Susan liked to joke around and to see people laugh; even when she didn't feel that great people would ask her how she felt which got her "I feel with my hands" response and a smile.
Susan is survived by her brother Kenneth Brogan and wife Sandra, her son Thomas Mata,Jr. and wife Michele, her daughter Christine Griffy and husband Damon, her daughter Karen Dunn and husband Scott. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren Jonathan and Matthew Mata, Natasha Dunn, Marisa Wilson and husband Tyler, Scott Dunn, Jr., and her Great Grandchildren Alora and Tucker Wilson as as well as her 2 dogs and circle of friends like no other.
There will forever be an empty space in this world but the loving memory of Susan will be in our hearts forever and always. You will forever be loved and remembered.
