Teresa Cortez Hayek
8/23/1950-12/31/2020

Teresa passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her husband George Hayek, their son George Jr. and daughters Sue and Monica. She was blessed with 7 grandkids Mikey, Susie, Samantha, Bella, AJ, Evan and our angel in heaven Alyssa.
Her siblings Blanca,Delia, Fernando, and Aroldo. Her brother Jorge met her in Heaven.

Teresa was born to Maximiliano and Delia in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She bravely moved to America in 1971 for a better life. She met George Hayek and got married in 1973. They raised their family in New Jersey and moved to Conway, South Carolina in 1995.

Their dream was to own their own business and ran a successful restaurant for over 15 years. Old World Italian Restaurant. 1996-2013.
Unfortunately Teresa was diagnosed with Dementia and eventually lost her battle.

She will be dearly missed. God took her too soon. May she always protect us
