Terry Wayne
Ladd
February 10, 1984 – February 9, 2026
Terry Wayne Ladd, 41, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on February 9, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a community that will miss him dearly.
Born on February 10, 1984, Terry lived a life defined by devotion—to his family, his work, and the people fortunate enough to know him. He dedicated many years to the HVAC field, taking great pride in his craft. Terry was known not only for his strong work ethic and skill, but for his integrity and readiness to help anyone who needed him. He believed in doing things the right way and in standing by his word.
Above all else, Terry was a family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Candace, and his beloved children, Melissa and her husband Jaden, Preston, and Brayden, who were the light of his life and his proudest accomplishments. He is also survived by his grandmother, Jean Kemp; his brothers, John Ladd and his wife Wendy, Chris Ladd, Brock Ladd and Daniel Gilmore; his in-laws, Pam and Steve Salins; along with several nieces, nephews, and many close friends who were like family to him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Ladd, and his brother-in-law, Joshua Salins.
Terry was the kind of man who showed up—without hesitation and without complaint. Whether it was for his family, a friend, or a neighbor, he could always be counted on. His family and friends were the center of his world, and he found his greatest happiness in the time he spent with them. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, unwavering commitment to those he loved, and the deep, steady love he gave so freely.
In his final act of generosity, Terry gave the gift of life through organ donation. Through his partnership with Sharing Hope SC, his selfless decision saved and improved the lives of others — a lasting legacy of compassion and hope.
