Mrs. Virginia Blackwell Wray (85) of Columbia died April 27, 2021. Mrs. Wray was born February 22, 1936 in Columbia. She was the daughter of the late William Woodrow Blackwell and Virginia Bennett Blackwell.
Mrs. Wray was preceded in death by her beloved son, Samuel Edward "Eddie" Wray, Jr., and her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Wray Petersen; four grandchildren, Jesse, Tess, Stephanie, and Savannah; and two great-grandchildren,

Kaylee and Amina. Survivors also include a brother, William Woodrow Blackwell, Jr., and a sister, Carolyn B. Hiott (TJ).
