Warren W. Spangler, 77, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully on March 1st at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center with his daughter and son-in-law at his side.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to William and Hazel Spangler he lived most of his life in Glendale, NY before moving to Whiting, NJ and then Myrtle Beach, SC.
He graduated from Pace University and worked as an accountant for many years in NYC's Financial District.Warren enjoyed singing in the Christ Lutheran Church choir. He was an avid NY Mets and NY Jets fan.
Warren was the beloved father of son Gregory Adam and daughter Kim Andrea. He is also survived by his daughter Kim, his son-in-law Shane Cantley, his ex-wife Gwendolyn, his sister Karen Brown and brother-in-law Stanley Brown, of Glendale, NY; his two grandsons Nicholas and Evan William, as well as many loving nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Warren joins his beloved son Gregory in eternal peace.
The family will host a private memorial service at Grand Strand Funeral Home on March 9th. Memorial donations may be made in Warren's name to the American Heart Foundation.
