William Guy Vandiver Jr., age 83 of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on October 16th, 2017. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Myrtle Charles Vandiver Ashley and William Guy Vandiver Sr. Mr. Vandiver was also predeceased by his brother, Harold L. Vandiver and stepfather Paul Ashley.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Jones Vandiver, two sons, William Guy (Dorothy) of Elizabeth City, NC, Virgil Keith (Lilly) of Medina, Ohio, daughter Cathy Dixon (Johnny) of Winston-Salem, NC, grandchildren Loretta, Mason, Nicholas, Ryan, Sheri, Teresa, Tessie and William, great-grandchildren Aaden, Abby, Bentlee, Christian, Glory, Lauren, M.J. and Nathan and sisters Alma Herndon (Bob), Jean Allen (Billy) andbrother Sandford Ashley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 20th at Grand Strand Church of Christ at 2212 Glenns Bay Road in Surfside Beach, SC.
